De tota manera, per mantenir la flexibilitat no cal porta-les a aquests extrems, anar d'excursió i, si cal, fer alguna activitat (ballar, passejar...) es més que suficient. També és molt important tenir una dieta adequada (d'aliments apropiats i controlant la qualitat), amb aliments frescos i el més natural possible.
